Great sushi! I got the Energy Roll, and it was very fresh and refreshing! You could tell that the ingredients were fresh by the soft texture - nothing had sat too long in a fridge or freezer. Shout out to the owners who gave us each complimentary special piece with fried fish! Shout out to the grear service from the super hot blonde waitress !

A regular here. I always order to go and they are always very prompt in getting to go orders out. Last night I ordered for my girlfriend and I pretty close to their closing time. Upon returning home I realized that we were missing a roll. It was too late to call so I went back the next day to ask if they could remake the order. They remembered me and apologized profusely. Sat me down and remade the order and offered me a special made dish while I waited for the roll to get done. Excellent customer service and professional staff. Best sushi in south OC!

Didn't think I'd ever find a decent a la carte sushi spot in South County, but this is the place! As long as the prices don't give you sticker shock, the quality of the sashimi is excellent and are huge generous cuts! Also if you're a fan of crispy rice and spicy tuna, the Super Bowl here is so good. I have to give special mention for the ginger here, it is so so good and I never eat ginger with my sushi, but the way they make theirs is so worth adding to each bite of sashimi. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, friendly (though slow) service, and beautifully presented plates.

With sushi, it is all about balance. Sometimes they cut the fish too thick, sometimes too thin. Often the rice is overcooked or undercooked. Not enough rice vinegar or too much -- Nobu Matsuhisa Here at Sashimi, at least for my later Saturday night dinner, they do it just right :-) Rolls, sushi, sake; it was all so lovely and so perfect. Pricey no doubt, but worth every penny. The photos just show a little bit of what we loved. Open until 9:30-10pm in an area not known for restaurants being open at this time. A healthy crowd had the same good taste we did. Highly recommended!
